Neurohospitalist
Bradenton/Lakewood Ranch, FL – Gulf Coast
Manatee Memorial Hospital and Lakewood Ranch Medical Center are seeking a highly skilled Neurohospitalist to provide exceptional inpatient services at both hospitals in Manatee County. The schedule for this position is 7 days on/7 days off. The ideal candidate must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Neurology and possess an active Florida medical license. As a Neurohospitalist, you will have the opportunity to treat a wide spectrum of neurological disorders and provide consultative neurology services to inpatients. The role requires proficiency in acute stroke care and the ability to work collaboratively with a support team, including clinical nurse specialists, stroke coordinators, and dedicated care management professionals. Comprehensive onsite neurosurgery services are available to support patient care needs.
- Manatee Memorial Hospital: A 295-bed hospital offering emergency medicine, cardiac care, robotic-assisted surgery, weight-loss programs, orthopedic services, radiology, rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep medicine, oncology, wound care, and women’s and children’s care, including a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). With a medical staff comprising more than 800 physicians, residents, and allied health professionals, Manatee Memorial Hospital is committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to the community.
- Lakewood Ranch Medical Center: Located just two miles from I-75 on the border between Manatee and Sarasota counties, Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is a 120-bed acute care hospital offering emergency services, general and robotic surgery, maternity care, breast health, cardiology, orthopedic surgery, stroke care, sleep medicine, urology, and wound care. With a medical staff consisting of more than 750 physicians and allied health professionals, Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is dedicated to providing compassionate, quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Neurology
- Active Florida medical license
- Proficiency in acute stroke care and treatment of neurological disorders
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
