  • Permanent job opening
  • Work 7 on/7 off
  • 7p-7a
  • Night shifts – one physician and one nurse practitioner work 7p-7a
  • Average admissions overnight is probably around 10 now
  • The average census of the patients the nocturnist covers ranges from 40-60 plus the overnight admissions
  • There is a critical care NP in house overnight
  • Work with enthusiastic internal medicine trained colleagues along with an involved responsive leadership team
  • No procedures
  • Cover RRTs and codes
  • Round in the ICU
  • Co-manage ICU patients alongside intensivists and residents
  • Leadership opportunity available, if desired
  • Will teach residents
  • EMR: Meditech
  • No visa candidates, unfortunately
