Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
- Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Flexible Scheduling:
- The schedule for this role is 7-on/7-off, working from 7 am-7 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care in a community-based hospital. The hospital comprises a med/surg tele unit and an open ICU, predominantly serving as an IMCU.
- We collaborate with a few tele-services (pulmonary/critical care, ID, Neuro). Our orthopedic surgery joint replacement program is well known, and we assist surgeons with postoperative medical management.
- We assume responsibility for our patients and regularly collaborate through curbside consultations during multidisciplinary rounds, especially when faced with challenging cases.
