Coverage Needs Details:

  • Inpatient Setting
  • Regular Scheduled Shifts (No Call)
  • Day and Night Shifts Available
  • Weekday and Weekend Coverage (7-14 shifts per month)

Candidate Requirements

  • Active NE Licensure or IMLC letter of qualification in-hand
  • Minimum Board Status: Board Certified (Or truly Board Eligible (Within 5 years of residency))
  • Residency/Fellowship: IM residency preferred, FM can be considered
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, DEA
  • Covid Vaccination: Required
  • Must be comfortable rounding in open ICU environment

Job Details

  • FTE: 1.0
  • EMR: Epic
  • Duties: Daily management of hospitalized patients adhering to the local practice culture. Daily notes written in Epic-no copy/paste forward. Participate in daily huddle, answer CDI queries and round with nurses. Code Blue and Rapid Response Team.
  • Procedures: Not Required
  • Census: Admitters see 5-12 patients per day, Rounders see 17-22 patients per day (with some on rehab that do not need to be seen daily)
  • Open ICU
  • Support Staff: Weekday APP’s, local admin support
  • Est Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
  • Schedule: Days (8am to 5pm), Nights (5pm to 7am)
  • Open Dates:
    • March 8 - 11 (Nights)
    • March 13 - 15 (Nights)
    • March 30 - April 5 (Days)
    • Client would also like to to see February availability

Compensation for this opportunity is highly competitive at $200/hr
