Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of nine physicians at St. Luke’s Memorial.
- We are a diverse group of physicians from different cultures, backgrounds, and training programs. We are a wonderful group of people with camaraderie and a team culture. We are good at finding common ground and leaning on each other for support and knowledge.
- For those who like to teach, we work with medical students and have a small family medicine residency at the hospital affiliated with Baylor.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
- We proudly sponsor H1B and J1 Visa candidates, and Sound has excellent in-house visa specialists and our licensing and credentialing experts. All required filing fees for the visa are paid, and services are covered by Sound.

Practice in the Heart of the Community
Flexible Scheduling:
- We work a traditional seven on/off schedule but cover for each other when we are out.
Key Responsibilities:
- We welcome the challenge of complex cases. We work in an open ICU with intensivist coverage during the day and on-call at night (our team is not expected to perform procedures, but we run codes).
- We usually meet monthly for team meetings and have daily huddles with the team.
