We are hiring for a Nocturnist position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible in internal or family medicine.
  • J1 candidates invited to apply; access to Sound’s in-house visa specialists as well as our licensing and credentialing experts; all required filing fees for the visa are paid and services covered

Flexible Scheduling:

  • This is a nocturnist role with an array of flexible scheduling options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • We manage an open ICU with 18 beds, collaborating on the care of critically ill patients. We’re seeking physicians with training in internal or family medicine, preferably with skills in arterial lines, central lines, and intubations, although it’s not mandatory. Vent management is required, and we provide mentoring for clinicians.
  • We use the Cerner electronic medical record system and offer access to our internal informatics platform.
