VeloSource has an ObGyn Hospitalist/Laborist opportunity in Austin, Texas.
- 24 HR shifts
- NICU Level: II
- Total Hospital Deliveries: 213 monthly
- Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries): 223 monthly
- MFM onsite
- In-house Anesthesia
- 24/7 transport teams available for high risk cases <32 weeks
- Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage, need high level of clinical competency in GYN
- Hospitalists Needed for First Assist when available
- First assist available to the Hospitalists, but not all the time
- Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: High collaboration with birthing center
- Backup Available to the Hospitalists by OBGYN/ED Call
REQUIREMENTS:
- 100-200 Deliveries in last 2 years
- 25-50 GYN visits annually
- No record of discipline by any medical organization
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Will consider Licensure Candidates
- Clinical Interview Not required
