About the Role
- Full-service Hospitalist needed at Calvert Health Medical Center.
- Calvert Health, in Prince Frederick, Maryland, is a non-profit community-owned hospital. There are over 200 active and consulting physicians on staff, representing over 40 medical specialties.
- Average 15 patients/day
- Open ICU, co-managed by Intensivists
- Staffing Model: 7 providers; 4 physicians/4 APPs
o Day: 2 – 3 Physicians and 3 APPs
o Night: 1 physician and 1 Critical Care APP
- EMR: Meditech
- Beds 78
- Board certified/eligible in internal or family medicine
- Responsibilities include unit-based rounding, swing shift covers admissions and new consults during day with dedicated nocturnists.
