- Provide personal care and assist with the activities of daily living for patients in end of life care
- Rotating; Dayshift
- Minimum Work Experience
- 6 months experience
- Required Licenses/Certifications
- Current Nurse Aide Certification
- Current HeartSaver CPR Certification
- Current Driver's License
- Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Ability to carry out obligations and duties of position
- Accountable for the regulatory requirements, functions, and duties of the Hospice Aide
- Deals effectively with community/consumers
- Demonstrated advocate of quality and cost effective care
- Understand the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual concerns/problems of terminally ill patients and families
- Must be knowledgeable of quality and performance improvement activities
- Proven written and editing skills
- Strong computer skills
- Requires ability to handle confidential information
