Job Description
- Seeking either experienced or new grad.
- Strong understanding of palliative care clinical models, including design, business modeling, productivity, quality, experience, and equity.
- Experience with new program development or expansion preferred.
- Clinical teaching experience desired.
- Join an established team of physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers, and an Administrative Director.
- Focused, collaborative environment with continued mentorship within the team.
- Assist in building collaborative relationships with hospital departments to enhance primary palliative care delivery.
- Monday-Friday schedule.
- Assist in the growth of the program, particularly outpatient services.
- See outpatients for evaluations and treatment, including performing physical exams, interpreting diagnostic tests, recording findings, and formulating care plans.
- Assist in performing consultations on inpatient services.
- Participate in goals of care meetings with the Palliative Medicine Team.
- Participate in inpatient rounds for the consultation service.
- Serve as a clinical educator, supervising medical students, residents, and fellows rotating on the service.
- Participate in clinical research as determined by the Medical Director.
- Become a member of the Ethics Committee.
We offer a competitive starting salary, excellent benefits and malpractice insurance provided. Salary range: $266,900-$281,000.
