Seeking a per diem/part-time Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician to join an established and well-supported interdisciplinary team that provides Hospice physician coverage, as well as inpatient and outpatient Palliative care services. The department serves a strong teaching mission through its Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowships (physician, advanced practice clinician and chaplain) and teaching opportunities with the WWAMI School of Medicine and Alaska Family Medicine Residency.

  • At least 1 year of experience required
  • Ideal candidate will be board-certified, either a fellowship or experiential track
  • Candidate should be passionate about rural medicine
  • Ideal candidate will already be located in Alaska.
