Seeking a full-time, Board Eligible/Board Certified, Medical Director of Palliative Care and Hospice to support two well established teams in Humboldt County on California's beautiful north coast. This unique position will serve as Medical Director to both the inpatient palliative care team at Providence St. Joseph and Redwood Memorial Hospitals, as well as Medical Director of Hospice of Humboldt, a non-profit agency providing both outpatient hospice and inpatient hospice. Hospice of Humboldt includes a beautiful hospice house amongst the redwoods serving residents of Humboldt County. This exceptionally rare leadership opportunity provides for both hands-on patient care and program development functions.   • Compensation is between $257,009 and $318,396 per year
  • The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
