This west Georgia Health System is recruiting an experienced Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Palliative Medicine physician to expand our current palliative care service line, by offering inpatient services in west Georgia.

Salary: $250K guarantee with additional medical director earnings available plus $50K sign on/$50 start date incentives, relocation, and full benefits package.


Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Join an established collaborative and collegial inpatient palliative care team comprised of one physician, a dedicated full-time LPN, and a full-time licensed social worker.
  • Experience practicing Palliative Medicine in an acute care hospital setting with program management experience preferred.

Education

  • Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care through American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine
  • Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine or General Surgery
  • Completion of an accredited Palliative Medicine Fellowship
  • Current GA Medical License or must meet eligibility requirements

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday (5 days/40 hours per week)
  • Inpatient at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton
