Seeking BC/BE Hematologist join team in Charlotte, North Carolina

Integrated Network Cancer Program affiliated with malignant hematology
Significant referral base from primary care and specialty physicians in the Novant Health network
Clinical position with optional research opportunities
Established team of 1 physician and 3 advanced practice providers (APPs)
Excellent support from pathology, blood bank, radiology, ICU, and other specialist services
Brand new multi-million dollar Cancer Institute building in uptown Charlotte
Strong emphasis on clinical research; expanding services include benign and malignant hematology, stem cell transplant, cellular therapy, and integrative medicine
Adult Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) designation for advanced hemophilia care
Candidate Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology
Internal Medicine board certification/eligibility with experience or interest in non-malignant blood disorders also considered
Strong interest or experience in caring for hemophilia, sickle cell disease, and other bleeding disorders
Open to both new graduates and experienced candidates
Responsibilities & Duties:
Provide comprehensive hematology care to adult patients (ages 18+)
Manage non-malignant blood disorders including venous thromboembolism, sickle cell disease, hemophilia, and anemia
Collaborate with APPs and other oncology/hematology specialists
Potential to participate in clinical research trials
