**Benign Hematologist opening in Grand Rapids, MI**
Located in the heart of West Michigan
**Position Details**
- Specialty: Classic Hematologist/Benign Hematologist with a focus on adult sickle cell
- Practice Type: Full-time, hospital-employed position within a comprehensive cancer program
- M-F, 8-5
- Clinical Scope:
- Provide specialized care for benign hematology patients, including adult sickle cell management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in tumor boards
- Expand practice opportunities across West Michigan
- Facilities:
- Comprehensive radiology program with port placement

- Academic appointment available through Michigan State University, commensurate with experience

**Qualifications**
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Hematology
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with unrestricted Michigan medical license upon hire
- DEA Registration in Michigan upon hire
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 120 days of hire (AHA or ARC accepted)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) if required by specialty
- Experience with clinical trials is a plus
