We are seeking a candidate who is board-certified in Hematology and interested in program building and working with trainees. Candidates with a background and experience in clinical research, both present and past, are encouraged to apply for this title and are welcome to bring any existing work with them for this position.
As the Director of Clinical Research, the position will entail some of the following details:
- 20% of protected administrative and clinical research time, equating to 3 clinical days and two non-clinical days
- The scope of hematology involves a mixture of classical and malignant hematology
- Stem cell transplant program
- Bispecific antibody therapy with the imminent launch of a Car T-cell therapy program
- Epic EMR at the hospital campus and all outpatient facilities
- Academic appointment with UMass
- Brand new UMass medical school on LHMC campus that started Fall 2024
- Trainees will also include two fellows per year, internal medicine residents, and a monthly hosting of Tufts fellows
