- Other Details: The facility is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. This oncology-hematology opportunity requires an ASAP start with at least a six-month commitment, working a minimum of four days per week, starting June 9th and onward. The position is outpatient with Monday-Friday clinic hours, 3-5 days per week, and after-hours call. Coverage is needed due to two MDS leaving, and candidates should have a clean record and preferably an active MA license. Admissions are required, and rounding includes an average of five patients per day. The hospital is stroke-certified, and board certification is required. Temp privileges are available for providers with a clean record. The locum will see 15-18 patients per day, handle approximately ten calls per shift, and be on beeper call. There is an NP in the practice, but no supervision of advanced practice providers or residents is required. No surgeries or procedures are needed. Support staff details are unspecified. Required certifications include ACLS and BLS.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage admissions and round on approximately five patients daily.
- Participate in after-hours call coverage (beeper call) with approximately ten calls per shift.
- Collaborate with the existing NP and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Utilize Onco EMR in the clinic and Cerner in the hospital for documentation.
Qualifications
- Active MA license preferred; clean record required for temp privileges.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Experience in outpatient oncology care with hospital admissions.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of six months.
Working Hours
- After-hours call required.
- ASAP start, with a minimum six-month commitment (up to 12 months possible).
- Credentialing timeframe: approximately eight weeks for a clean record, up to 90 days if issues arise.
