Locums Hematology/Oncology Need in Oregon

• Coverage Needed

• April - December 2025

• Schedule

• 4 or 5 days per week, 8:30a-4:30p, with an admin day or half-day if needed
• Minimum 2 weeks a month
• Call Schedule: 7 days of call including one weekend, 1 in 4 rotation

• Clinical Details

• Setting: Outpatient setting in a free-standing cancer center
• Average number of patients per day in the clinic/outpatient: 10-15
• Hospital patients: Only when admitted for inpatient chemo
• 20% hematology, 80% oncology
• Trauma Level: 3
• Most benign heme is referred out as facility is focusing on getting new solid tumor diagnosis seen timely (within 1 week of referral)

• Requirements

• Board Certified in both Hematology and Oncology
• Active OR license - Preferred
  • open to providers needing to obtain one
• Clean background/no malpractice - Highly Preferred

• Call Ratio: 1:4

• Support Staff

• Number of Physicians in Practice: 3
• Number of APPs providing coverage: 2
• Radiation oncologists will be present during coverage
