Locum Tenens Hematology Oncology Physician – Oregon

Position Details:

• Setting: Outpatient – Free-standing cancer center
• Call Schedule: 7 days of call per month, including one weekend (1:4 rotation)
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, one weekend per month
• Support Staff: 2 APPs currently providing coverage
• Average Patient Load:
  • Outpatient Clinic: 10-15 patients per day
  • Hospital (Call/Rounding): Only when patients are admitted for inpatient chemo
• EMR System: EPIC
• Trauma Level: 3
• Reason for Coverage: Physician retirement/relocations
• Radiation Oncologists on Staff: Yes

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified in BOTH Hematology and Oncology – REQUIRED
• Active Oregon license – Preferred (Will consider providers willing to obtain)
• Clean background/no malpractice – Highly Preferred
• Self Query – NPDB at time of presentation – Required
• CAQH login and password – Required at time of offer
• DEA – Verbal confirmation required at name clear
• Must meet criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privileges
• 4 hours of unpaid EPIC training required (Testing out is an option – 2 hours)
• OT is after 40 hours (Workweek: Sunday – Saturday)

Certification Requirements:

• BLS
• Oregon State License (or willing to obtain)
