Locum - Physician - Hematology/Oncology in Hartford County, CT

We are hiring a Physician – Hematology/Oncology for Locum assignment in Hartford County, CT!

Job details:

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 6 months with opportunity to extend
• Shifts: Mon-Fri Consult Coverage 8:00 AM-4:30 PM with rotating weekends
• Practice Setting: Inpatient Oncology Unit
• Split: Hem 60%, Onc 40%
• Call Schedule: overnight telephonic call (rotating)
• Call Ratio: approx 1:8
• Patient Demographic: Adult, Geriatric
• Radiation Oncologists Present.
• Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL (Call/Rounding) : approx 5-20
• Required Duties: Participation on a Tumor Board, Orders Tests, Orders Images and Prescribes
• EMR: Epic

Job Requirements:

• BC/BE
• CT License
