Hematology & Oncology Locum Position in New Albany, IN

Hematology & Oncology Practice in New Albany, IN is in search of Part Time locums Physician (MD/DO)- $500 Hourly

Setting: Inpatient/clinic/Call/Rounding

Start Date: June 23, 2025-Ongoing

Schedule/Need:

-1-3 weeks per month through 2025 due to a growing practice.
-Shifts available: Clinic with Night Call
-Weekend call 1-2 times per month, depending on the schedule (total shifts needed 14)
-Weekend call from Friday to Monday morning, seeking one weekend per month.

Submission Requirements:

• Accepted Credentials: Physician (MD/DO)
• MD or DO
• BC in Medical Oncology and Hematology, or Med Onc with a hematology fellowship completion.
• Required Certifications: KY License BLS, DEA Certificate
• Epic Experience Required

Position Details:

Required Experience in:

• Bone Marrow Transplants
• Bone Marrow Biopsies
• Chemotherapy
• Blood Transfusions
• Immunotherapy
• Lumber Puncture (spinal tap)
• Radiation therapy
• Ablation therapy

-Typical day: report to clinic for 8 hours of patient care, call after hours.
-Hem 90%/ Onc 10% patient population
-Will do Onc Consults while in hospital rounding as needed
-Beds: 266
