Position Overview

• Start Date: May 5, 2025

• Reason for Opening: Turnover Vacancy

• Credential Requirements: DO or MD

• Licensure: Maryland License Required (willing to consider candidates needing to obtain a license)

• Certifications Required: BLS, DEA, CSR License

• Minimum Experience: Three years

• EMR System: EPIC Beacon

Coverage Details

• Clinic Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Patient Volume: 12–15 patients per day (new and follow-up appointments)

• On-Call Responsibilities:

  • One night of call per week

  • Must cover inpatients admitted for oncology reasons Monday through Friday

  • One weekday per week responsible for new inpatient consults and night call, with APP support during business hours

  • Possible 24-hour weekend call

  • Average admissions while on call: 5

• Rounding & Consults:

  • Inpatient consult support and rounding on admitted patients

  • Will work solo but have APP support during inpatient hours
