Associate Director of Cellular Therapy Opening in Winston-Salem, NC Seeking an experienced Cellular Therapy Physician to join our expanding Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program. This is a full-time, system-wide leadership position with a primary location in Winston-Salem, NC. As the Associate Director of Cellular Therapy, you will play a pivotal role in the development and expansion of our FACT-accredited program, working alongside a robust and growing team of clinical researchers in Cellular and Immunotherapies. Opportunity Highlights: * System-Wide Leadership: Lead and coordinate efforts for stem cell transplant and CAR-T/TIL therapy across our system, which includes both Winston-Salem and Charlotte locations. * Collaborative Environment: Work with a multidisciplinary team that includes 7 physician providers and 10 advanced practice providers (APPs) across two sites. * Expanded Capabilities: Be a key part of a rapidly growing program, with exciting expansion plans for both inpatient and outpatient Cellular Therapy and Apheresis Units in Winston-Salem and Charlotte. * Comprehensive Support: Access to excellent support from pathology, blood bank, radiology, intensive care, and other specialty services. * State-of-the-Art Facilities: Work in newly built, multi-million dollar Cancer Institute buildings, including specialized outpatient Cellular Therapy and Apheresis spaces. Candidate Qualifications: * Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology. * Experience in hematopoietic cell transplantation and CAR-T cell therapy is preferred. * A minimum of 3 years of experience post-fellowship is ideal, with a strong focus on patient care and translational research. * Experience in the management of patients with multiple myeloma, lymphoma, and acute leukemia is required. * Candidates with an interest in developing a sub-specialized disease focus are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities & Duties: * Coordinate all aspects of stem cell transplant and CAR-T/TIL therapy for the Cancer Institute located in Winston-Salem, NC. * Collaborate with the system-wide director to develop treatment algorithms and clinical trial opportunities for patients across the health system. * Lead the clinical and operational growth of the FACT-accredited transplantation and CAR-T programs in both Winston-Salem and Charlotte.
