Assignment Overview

• Facility: St. Joseph Hospital, CA (Providence St. Joseph Health)

• Speciality: IM-Hematology/Oncology

• Schedule: M-F 8a-5pm Clinic coverage + Call (Roughly 7 days per month)

• Credentialing: 60-90 days

• Coverage Type: Locum Tenens (Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call)

• Start Date: April 14, 2025

• End Date: Ongoing

• Practice Setting: Outpatient

• EMR System: Epic

• Board Certification Required: Yes

• Licensure Requirement: Active CA medical license

• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days

Coverage Needs

• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM in the clinic

• Call Schedule: 7 days per month (beeper call, 30-minute response time)

• Patient Volume: 12-15 per shift

• Oncology Clinic: Attached to treatment center and hospital

• Hospital Privileges: Required

• Temporary Privileges: Not available

• Inpatient Experience: Must have at least 2 years of recent inpatient activity to qualify for privileges

• Supervision Responsibilities: None (does not need to supervise Advanced Practice Providers)
