Situated in a vibrant and growing mid-sized metropolitan area of 690,000 people, we are seeking a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) in Hematology Oncology

Job Details:

  • Full-time: 4-day work week, M-F with a minimum of 32 hours of patient contact time - including clinic, treatments, and rounding as needed.

  • On Call: 1:7 shared equitably on evenings and weekends. Inpatient unit covered by Oncology Hospitalist Monday through Friday 8-5.

  • Providers will cover inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic

  • Full-service cancer center with medical, radiation and surgical oncology, offers integrative care team support with nurse navigators, social work support, genetics counseling, and nutritionist.

  • Dedicated 10-bed inpatient unit

  • Weekly tumor boards provide opportunity to collaborate with our fellowship-trained surgeons in breast, plastic/reconstruction, GYN oncology, colorectal, neurosurgery, thoracic and esophageal.

  • Innovative programs include lung cancer screening, lung nodule clinic, neuro oncology, and robust clinical trials through the Montana Cancer Consortium. Primary care providers in key geographic locations support this specialized team.

  • EMR: EPIC and the AI tool for documentation

Requirements

  • Board Eligible (to become BC within 3 years of employment) or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology

  • ID and OR licenses (or willing to obtain)

  • Completion of Medical Oncology/Hematology Fellowship (by time of start)

  • DEA (or willing to obtain)

  • CDS/CSR (or willing to obtain)

  • Clean Malpractice & License History

  • Will consider candidates who were previously Board Certified and need to obtain again (case-by-case)

  • Open to H1B; will not accept J1 candidates at this time

  • May consider commuters and/or those looking for secondary employment (case-by-case)
