Hematologist/Oncologist Opportunity - Wilmington, North Carolina Myrtle Beach 60m We are seeking a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist to join our growing team in beautiful Wilmington, NC. This is an outstanding opportunity to provide high-quality, multidisciplinary cancer care while enjoying life in a coastal paradise. Position Details

  • Predominantly outpatient, hospital-based practice.
  • Collaborate with specialists in radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology, surgical oncology, advanced radiology, and pathology.
  • Participate in tumor boards, multidisciplinary clinics, and advanced hospice/palliative care programs.
  • Opportunity to engage in teaching as a clinical professor through the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.
  • Growing research portfolio with access to clinical trials through partnerships with UNC and the broader healthcare system.
  • Join a team of 11 medical oncologists and 8 advanced practice providers, with plans to expand further.
  • Call schedule: 1 in 11, evenly distributed, supported by a robust hospitalist service.
  • Focus on disease site specialization, with most physicians managing 1-2 primary disease sites.
Position Requirements Board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology. Open to new graduates and experienced candidates. Interest in practice leadership is highly encouraged.
