  • Rotating weekends with overnight telephonic call

• On Call Requirements: Overnight telephonic call (Approx. 1:8)

  • Adult and Geriatric
  • Practice Breakdown:
    • Hematology: 60%
    • Oncology: 40%
    • Internal Medicine: 0%
• Team:
  • Number of Physicians: 7
  • Radiation Oncologists present during locum coverage
  • APP Coverage: 1 dedicated inpatient; 11 total (some round on weekends)
• Patient Load: Approx. 5-20 patients/day (variable)
• Clinical Area: Oncology and Hematology (Inpatient)
• Trauma Level: Level I
• EMR System: Epic

Required Procedures

• Chemotherapy (Intrathecal)

Required Duties

• Participation on a Tumor Board
• Ordering tests and imaging
• Prescriptions

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible
• BC Oncologist
• Active Connecticut License
