Hematologist/Oncologist - Norwich, NY (Permanent Role) 60 miles to Syracuse, NY Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent Compensation: $435,019 to $543,774 / Year Job Description: We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to join our team in a well-established, busy practice. This role involves diagnosing and treating all adult disease states in hematology and oncology, with case loads varying between 22 to 30 patients per day. Our practice includes two clinics and three hospitals, with chemotherapy biotherapy infusion centers and an onsite lab at each location. Clinic hours are from Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 noon. The selected candidate will practice 2 days per week in Norwich and 3 days a week in Johnson City, New York. Position Highlights: Hospitalist coverage by one doctor each week, with no clinic responsibilities during this time. On call rotation 24/7, with nurse practitioners often taking first call on weekends.
