Job Highlights:
This position offers the opportunity to take over the practice of a retiring provider, providing a seamless transition and a built-in patient base. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team of 4 total Hematology/Oncology providers and 1 Radiation Oncologist.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Hematology/Oncology Physician, your primary responsibility will be managing outpatient oncology consults, with an average of 2-3 patients per day. This is a consult-only role with no inpatient admissions, allowing you to focus on high-quality patient care without the burden of hospital admits.
Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive outpatient care to oncology patients, including consultations, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
Patient Load: Manage an average of 2-3 patients per day, ensuring quality and personalized attention.
Call Rotation: Participate in a shared call schedule with 1:4 frequency.
Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including radiation oncology, surgery, pulmonary, and GI specialists, to deliver coordinated care.
Practice Transition: Take over an existing practice from a retiring provider, ensuring continuity of care for their patients.
Professional Development: Stay up to date on the latest advancements in hematology and oncology to provide cutting-edge care.

Qualifications:
