The Locum Hematology-Oncology Physician provides temporary medical care to patients with blood disorders (hematology) and cancer (oncology). The physician is responsible for diagnosing, staging, and providing treatment for various cancers and hematological conditions, including leukemia, lymphoma, anemia, and clotting disorders. The locum physician will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, deliver high-quality patient care, and manage complex cases in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Job Responsibilities

- Practice Setting: Inpatient coverage only.
- Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult
- Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL (Call/Rounding): 10+
- Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital): Level 1
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC

Qualifications

ABMS Board Certified Hematology/Oncology - Required
MN State License- Required
BLS- Required

Working Hours

7 days per week including weekend. Inpatient only (including weekends and overnights).
