We are seeking a dedicated Hematology and Oncology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity. This position focuses on call coverage for assigned patients, providing telehealth support during evenings and weekends. Job Responsibilities

Provide telehealth coverage for evening and weekend calls.
Evening call hours: 5 PM – 8 AM (3 nights per week).
Weekend call hours: Friday 5 PM – Monday 8 AM (one weekend per month).
Respond to patient inquiries and provide medical guidance in a timely manner (30-minute response time required).
Collaborate with other healthcare providers as necessary to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.

Qualifications

Education: MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Hematology, or Oncology.
Certification: Board-eligible or board-certified in Hematology and/or Oncology.
Licensing:
Active Washington State medical license required.
Licensing costs reimbursed if needed.
Certifications:
BLS and ACLS required.
ABLS preferred.
Fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology is preferred but not required.

Working Hours

Evening Call: 5 PM – 8 AM, three nights per week.
Weekend Call: Friday 5 PM – Monday 8 AM, one weekend per month.

Proficiency in telehealth practices and managing remote patient care.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide timely medical responses.
Effective communication skills for patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Familiarity with Epic EMR system preferred
