We are seeking a dedicated Board-Certified Hematology-Oncology Physician to join our community-focused medical facility for a part-time position. This is a one-doctor practice with supportive staff, including a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP).You will manage outpatient hematology-oncology cases, providing expert care in a community-based setting. This role includes flexible scheduling, a manageable patient load, and no on-call duties.

Job Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care for hematology-oncology patients.
Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
Perform bone marrow biopsies if desired.
Collaborate with APP and support staff to optimize patient outcomes.
Document patient encounters in the Aria Varian EMR system promptly (within 5 days).
Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Qualifications

Board Certification: Medical Oncology.
Licensure: Pennsylvania state license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA license.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in hematology-oncology practice.
Commitment: Must agree to a one-year minimum commitment.

Working Hours

Days: 3 days per week (Monday–Friday).
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (some flexibility available).
Shifts/Month: Approximately 12 shifts.

Skills

Proficiency with Aria Varian EMR (or ability to learn quickly).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
