Seeking BC/BE Oncologist/Hematologist to join its team of 7 medical oncologists in providing world-class cancer care. The position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art environment with senior-level mentors and a highly supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive cancer care in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Collaborate with a team of oncologists, including specialists in bone marrow transplantation and CAR-T therapy.
- Engage in advanced clinical trials and cutting-edge clinical offerings to improve patient outcomes.
- Work closely with dedicated APPs, transplant coordinators, pharmacists, social workers, and support staff.
- Provide care in a fully integrated program supported by a comprehensive network of sub-specialties.
Facility Details:
- The Cancer Institute is the regions only comprehensive cancer center, offering state-of-the-art services in one convenient location.
- The center includes 6 medical oncologists, 3 hematologists (specialized in bone marrow transplantation/CAR-T therapy), 2 gynecologic oncologists, and 3 radiation oncologists.
- The facility is equipped with the latest technologies, including high-dose-rate brachytherapy, intraoperative radiation for breast cancer, and gamma knife treatments.
- South Dakotas only bone marrow transplant center, having performed over 800 transplants and cellular therapies, including CAR-T.
- The cancer program includes weekly multidisciplinary conferences, covering specialties such as Lung, Breast, Hepatobiliary, GYN/GU, Head and Neck, Neurology/Neurosurgery, Liver, Genomics, and Metastatic Breast.
