We are hiring Hematology/Oncology Physician for an ongoing locum assignment in California!

Job details:

• Start: ASAP
• Schedule: Mon - Thurs 7am - 5:30pm with night call then 24hr remote call coverage Fri-Sun
• Call Coverage: 24/7 each week with around 5 calls per day
• Setting: Outpatient Clinic
• FTE: 1.0
• EMR: iKnowmed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion)
• Required Procedures: N/A. Bone Marrow Biopsies are referred to outside provider
• Support Staff: 1- clinic RN, 2-MAs, 2-front office clerks, 1-quality analyst/billing, and 3 infusions RNs
• Duties: All aspects of Diagnosis, Staging, Precision Medicine, symptom management, and Treatment of Hematology/ Oncology Patients.
  -MD oversight for both the Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services. Infusion Center requires MD onsite for all treatments.
  - Infusion Center provides Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Blood/Platelet transfusions, Hormone therapy, Antibiotic Therapy, Rheumatoid Arthritis injections, and Therapeutic Phlebotomies.

Job Requirements:

• Board Certified
• Board Eligible
• CA State License
• Medical Oncology Fellowship
• ACLS
• BLS
• DEA
  

What the Client has to offer:

• Daily rate: $3,000 for W2 and $3,500 for 1099 (inclusive of nightly call rate)
• 24hr call rate: $950 for W2 and $1,100 for 1099
• Client reimburses for all travel expenses: Flight, Hotel, Rental Car, Mileage at IRS Standard Rate
