Director of Hematology/Oncology Opportunity

Position Highlights:

  • Growing Program Leadership: Lead and shape a hematology/oncology team with the opportunity to drive program growth and improvement in a region experiencing significant expansion.
  • Work Schedule: Flexible scheduling options; Typical week is 4.5 days per week (Monday-Thursday, 8 AM - 5 PM; Friday, 8 AM - 12 PM)
  • High-Quality Patient Care: Average of 18-22 patients per day; treating a diverse adult patient population with both hematologic and oncologic needs.
  • Comprehensive Facility Support: Practice with access to a 10-chair infusion center, lab, and pharmacy onsite, imaging and radiation oncology services all onsite. Collaborate within tumor boards for multidisciplinary patient care.
  • Educational and Teaching Opportunities: Option to mentor Family Medicine residents and contribute to the training of future healthcare professionals.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Benefit from collaboration with cancer institute consistently ranked among top 15 programs in the U.S. and a streamlined referral system for specialized care.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive Base Salary: Starting at $622,500 with wRVU-based incentives
  • Sign-On Bonus: $35,000
  • CME Allowance: Annual allowance of $3,000 and 5 days for continuing education.

Qualifications:

  • Degree: MD or DO
  • Certifications: Board-certified/board-eligible in Hematology/Oncology
  • Licensure: Eligible for medical licensure in South Carolina
  • Experience: Ideal for an experienced physician with strong clinical and leadership skills, ready to guide a growing team in an established healthcare system.
