Exciting chance to work with a dedicated team in a state-of-the-art medical center while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic practice setting.
Practice Setting:
- Clinic: Weekday clinic Monday – Friday (8 am – 4:30 pm)
- Call: Rotating weekly call (Monday – Thursday, 5 pm – 8 am)
- Inpatient Rounding: One week of inpatient rounding per month
- Rotation Between Providers: Shared responsibility for consultation rounding
Schedule:
- Starting as soon as Credentialed through June 2025 with the option to extend
- One day of orientation
- 3 weeks on-site with 1 week of telemedicine coverage (tele-med during one week each month)
- Flexible schedule options: Will accept 2 weeks per month or 3 days per week each week
Clinic Volume:
- Approximately 15 visits per day
Cases & Procedures:
- The breakdown of cases is 50/50 between hematology and oncology
- Case Logs: Minimum 24 patients with hematology-related illnesses in the last 12 months
Clinical Support:
- Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) will provide clinical support to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified (BC) or Truly Board-Eligible (BE) in both Hematology and Oncology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Previous experience in hematology/oncology required
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload in both outpatient and inpatient settings
EMR and Dictation Tools:
- EPIC for electronic medical records
- Dragon for dictation
Credentialing:
- The credentialing timeframe is typically 30 days, though applications are prioritized based on the start date
- IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) accepted
