Center is seeking a dedicated Hematology/Medical Oncology Physician to join our esteemed team. This is an exciting opportunity to support our community, collaborate with our system's physicians, and uphold our long-standing tradition of providing exceptional cancer care.
Position Overview:
Type: Full-time Hematology/Medical Oncology position
Location: Beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast, near major airports and metropolitan areas
About the Cancer Center:
Comprehensive Services: Full-service cancer center offering diverse treatment options
Experienced Team: Five full-time Medical Oncologists
Two Radiation Oncologists
Only Gynecologic Oncologist in the region
Specialized Surgeons, including Colon & Rectal, Head & Neck, and Thoracic Cancer Surgeons
Support Network: Extensive medical specialty support, including Surgery, Radiology, Pathology, Pulmonology, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Neurology, and extended medical staff across three facilities
Infusion Services: Two full-service infusion units with 100% RN staff for infusion and clinic support
Research Opportunities: Well-defined research/trials department
Physician Support: Strong physician assistant service for benign hematology follow-ups, lower acuity oncology follow-ups, and triaging inpatient consults
Radiation Therapy: Comprehensive radiation therapy options at our Pascagoula location, including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and HDR
Candidate Requirements:
-Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Medical Oncology
Commitment: Strong desire to provide high-quality cancer care in an ACS-accredited Cancer Center
Compensation & Benefits:
