Hematology/Oncology opening near Boston - Located in Cambridge, MA - Boston 5m - Full-time, permanent opening - Employed position - Seeking a BE/BC Job Details: - Teaching Hospital is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to join the growing Division of Hematology/Oncology - The hospital serves a diverse mix of suburban and urban patients and is characterized by an exceptional and collegial working environment - A busy outpatient practice - An inpatient consulting service - A comprehensive chemotherapy/infusion space - The division consists of: 5 medical oncologists, and Oncology Nurse Practitioners, a robust Genetics program and a full complement of oncology nurses and Nurse Navigators both in the office and in the infusion clinic. - Job responsibilities include providing outpatient and inpatient care - Participating in the education of medical residents and Harvard Medical School students. - Stimulating and rigorous academic medicine and teaching. - A warm and collegial day-to-day work environment in a community-based setting. - Preference for candidates with primary interests in: Benign hematology, Breast cancer, Genitourinary cancer. - Candidates will enjoy a competitive compensation and benefits package. - The physician selected for this role will be eligible for a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
