Hematologist/Oncologist opening in Ohio - Located in Findlay, OH - 45 minutes to Toledo, OH - Full-time; Permanent - Employed - 2 years of CNM experience - On-site laboratory and pharmacy (board certified oncology pharmacist onsite) - Infusion therapy, radiation therapy - Care navigation, genetic counseling, dietician, clinical trials, nursing triage support, tumor registry, social worker - Radiation Oncology & Gyn/Oncology available on-site - Robust general surgery program and specialty services including ENT, Urology, Gynecology, Pulmonology and GI - Care team model, 1 dedicated registered nurse & 1 medical assistant per physician - Chemo certified RN's for inpatient chemotherapy administration - 2 full-time nurse practitioners to support outpatient practice - 50% Hematology/50% Oncology patient mix, most common cases are breast, colon, lung, prostate - 1:4 inpatient call, 7 consecutive days - Hospitalists admit all patients **About Findlay** - Downtown Findlay is a blend of beautiful, historical structures bustling with retail shops, restaurants, activities and businesses - The Findlay area offers year-round recreation and cultural activities, unique cuisine and a wide range of attractions - The Marathon Center for the Performing Arts (MCPA) provides a hub for the performing and visual arts - Findlay is home to the University of Findlay, Owens Community College and ,Winebrenner Theological Seminary.
