Job Title: Permanent Hematology Oncologist in Davenport, IA
The Genesis Cancer Care Institute, an accredited facility by the NAPBC and NQMBC, invites applications for a Hematology/Oncology physician to join our growing team. Our community-based hospital program operates clinics in Davenport, IA, Clinton, IA, and Silvis, IL, and features a collaborative atmosphere with a dedicated team of 4 Oncologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners. We utilize leading technology alongside services for radiation oncology, genetic testing, clinical trials, and infusion resources.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide care in Davenport, IA and Silvis, IL clinics.
- Conduct inpatient consultations primarily at Genesis Medical Center-Davenport, IA.
- Participate in shared call responsibilities.
- Collaborate with a hospitalist team for inpatient support.
- Exercise autonomy to develop your practice within a supportive medical group.
- Contribute to leadership and wellness initiatives promoting work-life balance.
- Maintain clean malpractice history; no ongoing cases requiring supervision.
- Achieve Board certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology within specified timeframes.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Medical Oncology.
- Possession of valid Iowa and Illinois medical licenses or willingness to obtain.
- DEA and CSR/CDA licensure or ability to secure them before start date.
- Preferred: Clean malpractice history.
- Eligibility for visa support (J1 or H1B) if required.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must have active licenses in Iowa and Illinois.
- DEA registration (can be obtained prior to start).
- Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) (can be obtained prior to start).
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility is mandatory.
