Job Title: Physician – Hematology & Oncology
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Placement
Overview:
Our client, a leading hospital in Walla Walla, WA, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist to join their established team. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions.
- Develop and manage treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, radiologists, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in clinical trials and research to advance the field of hematology and oncology.
- Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care.
- Stay current on advancements in the field and implement best practices in patient care.
- Contribute to hospital leadership and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Hematology and Oncology.
- Valid state medical license in WA or IMLC
- Strong clinical background in hematology/oncology with excellent patient management skills.
- Commitment to continuous education and professional development.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $520,000
- Earning Potential: Up to $600,000 with Value-Based Compensation
- Retention Bonus: $100,000 total ($20,000 per year over 5 years)
- RVU Bonus: $94.33 per RVU above 4922
- Sign-On Bonus: $50,000
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $15,000
