Job Title: Hematologist/Oncologist

Location: Eastern North Carolina

Job Summary:

Seeking a BE/BC Hematologist/Oncologist to join a multidisciplinary team in Eastern NC. Focus on hematology, breast, and colorectal cancers in a mix of academic and community practice. Work in a state-of-the-art facility with opportunities for teaching, clinical trials, and patient care.

Key Highlights:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with shared call.
  • Hospital: Level 1 trauma, 974-bed Academic Medical Center.
  • Inpatient: Covered by hospitalists with faculty/fellows providing consults.
  • Technology: Access to advanced equipment including Gamma Knife, Cyber Knife, and 3D Mammography.
  • Multidisciplinary Team: Collaboration with radiation, surgical, and gynecologic oncologists.
  • Clinical Trials: Participation in trials through the School of Medicine.
