The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group is comprised of over 800 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group is seeking board eligible/board certified Hematologist/Medical Oncologists to join our Medical Oncology division providing care at Hawai'i Pacific Health Cancer Centers. Our practice has a disease-based approach, enabling providers to specialize in their desired sub-specialty of oncology while also engaging in a community practice model. We are seeking oncologists who have an interest in providing the highest quality of cancer care in the state of Hawai'i. Hawai'i Pacific Health Cancer Centers is the only Integrated Network Cancer Program in the state accredited by the Commission on Cancer. You will be joining a team of cancer care providers that serve four primary cancer centers with the opportunity to deliver outreach services to our rural neighbor island practices. Our practice is supported by advanced practice providers, four infusion centers that employ board-certified oncology nurses, an adult inpatient oncology care unit, and a navigation team of disease-based nurses, social workers, and oncology liaisons. Our practice partners with the Hawai'i Pacific Health Medical Group divisions of surgery, radiology, pulmonology, urology, palliative medicine, primary care, and others to offer a multidisciplinary approach to cancer care.
Hawai'i Pacific Health is consortium partner of the University of Hawai'i Cancer Center, an NCI-designated cancer center. Through collaboration with other state health care leaders, we aim to provide research, education, patient care and community outreach with an emphasis on the unique ethnic, cultural, and environmental characteristics of Hawai'i and the Pacific region.
