Client located in West Central Michigan is looking for a Locum or Locum to Perm Board Certified Hematology Oncology Physician to join their team.

Practice Setting: Hospital-based cancer center. Outpatient services. Onsite lab, diagnostics, and pharmacy.
Reason for Coverage: New program growth
Dates of Coverage: Oct 7, 2024 for ~10 months
Shifts Per Month: Full Time - 5 days per week. But we can accommodate part time (partial weeks or some weeks on/some weeks off).
Call Ratio: 1:5
Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, Geriatric
Percentage of Practice: Assume 50% Hematology and 50% Oncology
Number of Physicians in Practice: 7 across 2 locations
APPs Provide Coverage: ~10
Average Number of Outpatient Per Day: 10-15
Average Number of Hospital Patients Per Day: 15
Clinical Area: Oncology - Outpatient
Trauma Level/Designation: Level 2 Trauma
Documentation System/EMR: Epic

Qualifications

Board Certified/Board Eligible: Oncology OR Hematology/Oncology (will not accept a Hematologist who isn't Boarded in Oncology) - REQUIRED
BLS - REQUIRED
MI License - Highly Preferred (will accept those willing to obtain state license)
