A healthcare facility in Michigan is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician to provide coverage beginning in the fall of 2024.
Practice Setting:
- Level II Trauma Center
- Outpatient setting treating adults and geriatric patients
- Large amount of APPs providing coverage
- Average outpatient PPD: 10-15
- Average hospital PPD: 15
Schedule Details:
- Clinic hours are 8 AM - 5 PM
- Call is 1:5 and shared among 6 providers
Cases and Procedures:
- 50% Hematology, 50% Oncology with participation on a Tumor board
- Duties include ordering tests, images, and prescribing procedures
- Procedures consist of ordering Chemotherapy, FNA/Biopsy, and management of VAD/CV catheters
