Lee Health is Seeking an Adult Medical Oncologist

Lee Health/Lee Physician Group is recruiting a full-time BE/BC Hematologist/Medical Oncologist to join the seven-physician group in Fort Myers, Florida. Physicians will practice at the Lee Health Cancer Institute, a 100,000-square-foot state-of-the-art outpatient facility that provides medical oncology, surgical oncology, and radiation oncology services. The Cancer Center boasts an on-site 43-chair chemotherapy infusion center, advanced imaging, specialty lab services, nurse navigators, genetic counselors, social workers, dietitians, cancer rehabilitation, and financial counseling. The 72-bed oncology hospital in the Gulf Coast Medical Center has the latest technology and resources to provide the best care possible, inspiring our physicians to deliver their best.

The integrated oncology program conducts multiple weekly disease-specific tumor boards, has a robust clinical research program, and sees 5393 analytic cases annually. Physicians will have 32 patient contact hours per week and 1:8 calls. Successful candidates will demonstrate a multidisciplinary approach to evaluation, management, and treatment with a team of specialists to optimize patient care. The candidate will be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine (allopathic/osteopathic), have completed an accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship, and possess or be able to obtain an unrestricted Florida medical license.
