Overview:
- Predominantly outpatient, hospital-based practice
- The cancer center provides highly disease specialized multidisciplinary cancer care in collaboration with radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology, surgical oncology, advanced radiology and pathology. This collaboration allows the medical hematology and oncology team to provide the highest level of care to all patients
- Tumor board collaboration, multidisciplinary clinics, and advanced hospice and palliative care opportunities allow many opportunities for clinicians to function at a high level of involvement and job satisfaction
- Team of 11 medical oncologists and 8 advanced practice providers
- Call is 1 in 11 and evenly distributed
- Robust hospitalist service managing admissions
- We believe in disease site specialization and the majority of our physicians focus their clinical practices around only 1 or 2 primary disease sites
- Patient population 18+
