Hem/Onc Generalist – 2 Journal Square, Jersey City
Hematologist – Specializing in malignant lymphoma
Medical Oncologist – Specializing in Lung
The medical oncologist will be a practicing provider, who will work in the department of Hematology/Oncology, contributing to a developing and growing cancer center.
Our Cancer Center has 8 established DMTs each coordinated by recognized subspecialty Surgical and Medical Oncologists. We actively participate in clinical trials and educate medical students and house staff.
Based in a state-of-the art facility with brand new equipment, The Lefcourt Family Cancer Treatment & Wellness Center at Englewood Health includes:
- A 36-Private Room Infusion Center,
- A cutting-edge Radiation Oncology suite with two new Varian True Beams
- Full range of Medical, Surgical, Genetic Counseling, and Palliative Care services
If you like to collaborate with a multidisciplinary cancer team, you will have direct collegial onsite support from areas such as Surgery, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Radiology and nurse navigation within a COC accredited Cancer Center. Collaborate with the NCI on several research opportunities.
The Lefcourt Family Cancer Treatment & Wellness Center is COC and NAPBC accredited and features oncology certified nurse practitioners, an oncology certified pharmacist, research coordinators, nurse navigators, nutritionists, chaplains, and integrative medicine providers.
Education Requirements:
- MD or DO with a completed internship and residency from an accredited institution
License/Certification/Registry:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
- Completion of fellowship in Hematology/Oncology
- Currently holds, or has the ability to obtain licensure as per NJ State requirements and medical staff bylaws
