The extensive package contains: Hematologist/Oncologist

  • $650k-$750k base salary, depending on experience. Guaranteed for 1 year then wRVU model.
  • fellowship stipend approved for Hem/Onc. For any Hem/Onc fellows, we can offer them $2k a month

Job/Practice Description: Hematologist/Oncologist

  • Full Time
  • 30% Hematology/70% Oncology
  • Oncology - even split between breast, colon, lung, and prostate
  • Hematology - sickle cell and leukemia are shipped out
  • Schedule: M-Thurs 8am-5pm; Friday 8am-12pm
  • IP/OP: Inpatient consults only; we are an outpatient practice (IP NP hired to work up IP and ER consults). 80% outpatient work.
  • 17-20 patients per day in the clinic. Normally 2-3 new patients daily, and the rest is follow ups.
  • Call: 1:2, back-up to NPs, mostly for oncology. A physician almost never comes in during evening hours. Two new NPs will be added to rotation shortly for 1:4 call.
