Aspire Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncologist to join our team. As an Oncologist at Aspire Medical Staffing, you will have the opportunity to provide specialized care to veteran patients with cancer and hematological disorders.

You will work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive cancer treatment and care to patients. You will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating cancer, managing chemotherapy and radiation therapy treatments, and monitoring patients' progress throughout their treatment journey.

Our ideal candidate is a board-certified or board-eligible Oncologist with a strong background in medical oncology and hematology. You should be skilled in administering chemotherapy and other cancer treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing compassionate patient care.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of a residency/fellowship program in Medical Oncology
  • Board Eligible or Board certification in Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
  • Active and unrestricted medical license to practice anywhere in the USA
  • BLS Certification
  • Experience in diagnosing and treating various types of cancer
  • Proficiency in administering chemotherapy and radiation therapy treatments
  • Familiarity with the latest advances and research in oncology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach


Duties:

  • Diagnose and treat cancer patients, including determining the stage and type of cancer, planning and prescribing treatments, and monitoring patients' progress
  • Administer chemotherapy and radiation therapy treatments, monitoring patients for potential side effects and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, and pathologists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances and research in oncology, attending conferences and continuing education events
  • Educate and support patients and their families throughout the cancer treatment process
  • Participate in clinical trials and research studies to contribute to the development of new cancer treatments and therapies
